GETTING HERE
There are two ways you may get here, however, the instructions that follow are only applicable if you are coming from Manila:
Getting here via aeroplane
1.
Book a flight to
San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
As of this time, www.cebupacificair.com is the only airline
service available.
2.
Read the details of
your flight. Check if it is NAIA Terminal 3 or
Terminal 4. Some passengers just immediately go to Terminal 3.
3.
Ride a bus or van
to Sablayan. After arriving at the San Jose
Airport, find a tricycle and the driver to bring you to a transport terminal
going to the province of Sablayan. You have an option to take a bus or van.
4.
Tell the driver to
drop you at D.J. Beach Resort. Travel
time from the airport to Sablayan may take 2 to 2.5 hours.
Getting here via Roll-on Roll-off (RORO):
1. Go
to Dimple Star or RORO bus terminals. Both terminals are
located side by side at South Road street, Cubao,
near Petron gas station along EDSA. The trip will take you
straight to Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.
You may also take your own vehicle and proceed to Batangas Pier where you will make arrangements to take a RORO to Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro.
You may also take your own vehicle and proceed to Batangas Pier where you will make arrangements to take a RORO to Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro.
2. Remember
the transfer points. [1.] From Manila to Batangas
Pier (travel time may take 2-3 hours.) [2.] From Batangas
Pier to Abra
de Ilog Pier (travel time usually take 2.5 to 3 hours.)
[3.] From Abra de Ilog Pier to Sablayan (travel
time may take 3-3.5 hours.)
3. Ride the
tricycle. Once you arrive at the Dimple Star or RORO bus terminals
in Sablayan, Remind the conductor to drop you at DJ Beach Resort. The
resort is located along the highway.
4. Look for the
owners: Nanay Gloria, Amie, or Jon-Jon.
